By accessing or using ShouldIBack ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
// WHAT WE PROVIDE
ShouldIBack is an AI-powered analysis tool that evaluates Kickstarter campaigns based on publicly available data. We provide trust scores, signal breakdowns, and risk assessments to help backers make more informed pledging decisions.
Important: Our analysis is generated by AI and is informational only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to back or avoid any campaign. Always conduct your own due diligence before pledging.
// FREE AND PRO PLANS
Free plan: Available to all registered users at no cost. Includes a limited set of signals per analysis.
Pro plan: Paid subscription billed monthly or annually. Unlocks all signals and unlimited analyses. Pro Monthly is billed each month. Pro Annual is billed once per year. A 7-day free trial is available on the Annual plan for new subscribers.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via your profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
// ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm Kickstarter creators
- Automate requests to our platform (scraping, bots, bulk API calls)
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell our analysis results commercially
- Share Pro account access with others
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.
// INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, design, and code on ShouldIBack is owned by us. You may not reproduce or redistribute our platform or analysis outputs without written permission. Campaign data analyzed by our tool remains the property of the respective campaign creators.
// DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis. AI-generated results may contain errors. Campaign data is fetched from publicly available sources and may be outdated.
ShouldIBack is not affiliated with Kickstarter PBC. We have no special access to Kickstarter's internal data.
// LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShouldIBack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including losses resulting from backing or not backing a campaign based on our analysis. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
// CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
